The French President, Francois Hollande, opened on August 27 at Elysee the French ambassadors’ conference scheduled from 27 to 29 August. His speech was dominated by the Syria crisis and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The French president also focused on the situation in Egypt and Central Africa, where dictatorship becomes the phenomenon of sub-regional destabilization. The case that was notified is the politics situation in Republic of Congo with the role played by Denis Sassou Nguesso concerning the destabilization not only of its neighbors, but the desire for using all possible forms to change its own constitution with objectives to remain in power Beyond 2016.
This is the raison that justified the French president to give calls to African Union institution and to Security Council of United Nations to take up the situation in the Central African Republic which reference is made to be admirable work done by NGOs without saying any word concerning the dictator obsolete mediation. The French president addressed the message to diplomats who have in charge of preparing the Elysee Summit on African security held in December 2013 that the dictator Denis Sassou Nguesso should not be offered a leading role as a mediator of the conflict in the Central African Republic and in Democratic Republic of Congo.
The willingness almost displayed by the dictator to stay in power by all means annoys several diplomats and international political actors. They consider that there is a high risk of destabilization of a region already that is already affected by many conflicts. Recommendations have been given to His Excellency Mr. Jean-François Valette, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Congo. It is a Challenge for this French diplomat who works in Brazzaville since December 14, 2009.
“wait and see”!!
